Our Methodology: Real Talk. Real Voters.

POLL'D runs opt-in polls of young voters (ages 18–29). Anyone in that age range can register on this website and make their voice heard. Participation is voluntary — nobody is randomly selected, and we don't pretend otherwise.

We believe trust is earned through transparency, so here's exactly how it works.

How POLL'D polling works

  1. Register. Sign up through the Registration section of this site. Registration is for POLL'D's own polls — it is not voter registration.

  2. Verify. We match each registrant's name against official voter rolls. If we can't verify you, you don't vote in our polls. This keeps out bots, duplicates, and bad actors.

  3. Vote. One person, one vote — on the bills and ballot measures that matter to you.

  4. We publish. Results are posted publicly, in full: every question, every response count. No cherry-picking.

What our results represent — and what they don't

  • Our results reflect the views of verified young voters who chose to participate. That's a real, meaningful group — but it is not a random sample of all young voters, and we don't claim a traditional margin of error.

  • Because our polls are opt-in, respondents may be more politically engaged than the average young voter. We say that openly instead of hiding it.

  • What we can promise: every respondent is a real, verified person, counted exactly once.

Keeping it legit

  • Identity verification: every registrant matched against voter rolls.

  • One person, one vote: duplicates and unverifiable registrations removed.

  • No spin: complete results published, not selected highlights.

  • Nonpartisan, always: POLL'D doesn't support or oppose any candidate, party, or ideology. We explain the bills; you decide.
